Introduction

This page gives an overview of the roadmap for SmartSEF.
Intention of the roadmap is to give you an idea about the development cycle of SmartSEF:

First of all it's the purpose to get SmartSEF 'core' stable and the priority is within the bug fixing. Looking back at the first week of the SmartSEF release there where only a few, small bugs discovered. It's the intention to raise the status to Release Candidate from BETA soon. This will be expected within the next 2 weeks

Roadmap

Release date: March 2008

1. Sitemap, based on the SmartSEF URL Repository, model conform: http://www.sitemaps.org/
2. Ability to assign META data to URL's. This will be based on the structure of the Joomlatwork SEF patch for 1.5 XML file.
3. Security checks based on the URL requests (like sh404SEF).
4. Good URL encoding (a far as this is need)
5. SEO assistant tools as present in OpenSEF
