The SmartSEF URL Rewriter component is written by Joomlatwork development Team.

The SmartSEF component is based on a totally new code base and written from scratch. SmartSEF is a native Joomla 1.5.x component (no legacy mode required). The first release is on 1 Februari 2008 and is the BETA 1.0 release. Please notice that the code is still in BETA so this version is not yet fully tested. As BETA code it is not suitable for production environments.
